Living on mission for Christ means we love people as Jesus loved people. Jesus loved people as a steward - orienting all aspects of his life to fulfilling the reason for which God sent Him. In John 17:4, Jesus prayed to His Father, 'I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do.' Similarly, God has given us a work to accomplish as well. Join us this Sunday as we consider orienting our lives to accomplish the mission God has given us so that one day we may hear the Lord say to us, 'well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'
