When Jesus teaches us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” he is telling us, in a very simple way, that we should ask God for all our needs in prayer! But there's something more complex going on in this prayer. When we pray this way, God teaches us to trust him to be our Provider on his timeline. Through trusting in Him we become more thankful and generous people.
